You can actually teach Excel to do simple tasks you need to perform in excel by recording a Macro. Macros require no coding, and it can be used repeatedly to perform many different tasks.
Adding Macros-
1. Add Developer Tab to Ribbon by going to File>Options>Customize Ribbon>checkmark Developer.
2. Go to the Developer tab on your Ribbon & click Record Macro.
3. Choose a name when the Macro window opens.
4. Choose a Shortcut Key.
5. Next, under Store macro in choose Personal Macro Workbook(if you will run the macro on different workbooks).
6. Enter a Description & click OK.
7. Now, every action you take will be recorded by Excel and stored in the macro.
8. Go to the Developer tab & click Stop Recording.
Performing Macros-
Open a workbook where you would like Excel to perform the recorded task. Go to the Developer tab click Macros. Select the macro & click Run.
